Yes, It was during the time that I was preparing for MCAT exam. I was reviewing functional neuroanatomy and stroke the night before. It was in the morning that I woke up with a loud sound in my head as if I were shot. I could not move my body at all. The few second of total paralysis was traumatic. I was thinking that I had had a stroke and that was it: quadriplegic. Of course, I could move afterwards, got into medical school and have been moving around the world for the past 36 years.
